Tim Kimura Trail Clinic - Friday 16th of May

This booking is for day 1 of Tim's 3 days of clinics with us in 2025.

Nicknamed the “Man of Trail,” Tim Kimura has been a trail course designer for over 25 years - Sovereign Quarter Horses is excited to announce that we will be welcoming Tim back in 2025 for another packed Trail Clinic!

Riders participating in Tim’s clinics will have the opportunity to learn about improving their trail scores, managing the pattern smoothly and effectively, transitioning between obstacles, manoeuvring through and over all elements and much more! Learn from the top trail designer for 3 days of non-stop learning and development, for yourself and your horse.

Run over three days, Tim's coaching will progress from Friday through to Sunday, with various topics and skills covered. Please note, we recommend attending all 3 days of Tim's clinic to get the most out this long weekend, however, Friday's clinic will be the most suitable for those of you wanting to attend one day only.

Tim can coach all levels of riding abilities, inspiring, confidence in riders of all backgrounds and providing riders and their horses with key tools to build upon. Tim will work with you from start to finish, walking through the set up a trail course, discussing the theory of patterns, how to walk a course and then, of course, how to ride it!

David, Sarah and Olivia have all worked with Tim many times over the years, and they use his trail techniques with horses and riders every day, including showing. This clinic is a great chance to really improve your riding and your skill set, regardless of the disciplines you ride in.

Clinic Format: The clinic will be run over two days with two groups riding each day, with both groups having a 1.5 hour session in the morning and again in the afternoon.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on this clinic once bookings have been made. You may find another rider to take your place on the clinic, please ensure any rider taking your place contacts us so we can send them relevant details for the event. All money must be handled between yourself and the other rider.
