This gelding's Dam, Blazin Stories, was bred here at Sovereign
Quarter Horses, by Blazin Chic Olena, out of a mare by Jays Smokin Story. J-Lo
was shown successfully in reining by an Amateur/Non-Pro rider in her showing
career before being sold to another Amateur home where she was enjoyed as a
general riding and family horse. Her loving and quiet nature made her the
perfect horse for an Amateur to have fun on, while her athleticism and talent shone
through in the show pen and training under open and non-pro riders. We bought
her back a few years ago after her owner retired from riding, initially to
breed from her, but due to her gorgeous temperament and movement, we used her
in our riding school for around 18 months where she taught many people to ride
as well as helping more experienced riders improve their skills in reining and
ranch riding. She then joined our broodmare herd in 2024, with her first foal
being born last year. J-Lo would have excelled in Ranch Riding if it had been a
discipline while she was showing, her movement and strong conformation would
have made her perfect for this class,

J-Lo is by our previous stallion Blazin Chic Olena (by the
legendary Smart Chic Olena), who was 4th at the AQHA World Show in Junior
Working Cow Horse. She has Jays Smokin Story on her dam side, who is also very heavily
bred with cow horse and reining bloodlines.

This gelding has 3 gorgeous paces and the athleticism of his sire and dam. He also has their friendly and loving temperament. He would excel in the Cow Horse, Reining and Ranch Riding classes.
