What are your opening times? Monday-Saturday, 9am-4pm

How can I book a lesson? Email Please also fill out a new rider form at the time you email so we can get back to you with appropriate availability

How much are lessons? £75/hour on an SQH lesson horse £60/hour on your own horse. Both prices are per person.

What is your cancellation policy? Riding Lessons: 24 hour notice is required for lesson cancellations, otherwise the lesson will be charged in full. Western Experience Days: Non-refundable and non-transferable unless we can fill your place. In exceptional circumstances, any refunds given will be subject to an admin fee to cover processing costs and any food which has already been ordered. Clinics: Non-refundable, you may sell your place to another rider, however all funds and communications must be handled by yourself and the other rider.

What should I wear for my lesson? Please wear comfortable clothing such as jeans or jodhpurs/leggings. Footwear should resemble a jodhpur boot or should be a suitable riding boot if you already have these. Cowboy boots of course welcomed!

Do you provide hard hats? Yes we have hard hats available to borrow. Due to insurance, hard hats are mandatory.

How do I book a Western Experience Day? Visit the shop tab on our website and then click the Western Experience Day category and all available dates will be there to book  

Do you teach beginners? Yes we have horses suitable for all levels of rider, please see our weight limit below.

Do you have a weight limit? Our weight limit for beginner and very novice or nervous riders is 14 stone and for more experienced riders it is 16.5 stone due to horses we have available for each level

Do you have an age limit? Our age limit for lessons on our horses is 14 and over.

I have a voucher, how do I use it? For Western Experience Day vouchers, please have a look at the available dates on our website and then email us with the date you would like to attend. For lesson vouchers, please fill out a new rider form and follow up with an email to request availability. In both cases, please contact us to use your voucher as soon as possible after receiving it as we book up very quickly and well in advance. All vouchers have 1 year validity from date of purchase.

Can I extend my voucher? We can offer voucher extensions for 3 months at a fee of £20. However this extension must be requested while your voucher has at least one month of validity left on it, after this we cannot extend. Each voucher can only be extended once.

When is your on-site western shop open? We can open the shop Monday-Saturday 9am-4pm, please email ahead to let us know you would like to visit so we can ensure someone is around to help you. We are also open during all of our events.

What is your address? Horse Creek Farm, Coldham Bank, March, PE15 0BS. Use the second black gate on your right to enter the car park

Do you have a café onsite? We do, however it is only open during our events, and not day-to-day

Where can I find your upcoming events? Keep an on our socials and turn on post notifications to keep up to date on our upcoming events, we also have a full events list on our website www.sovereignquarterhorses.com/events

Do you teach evening lessons or weekends? Our latest lesson during BST is 4pm, between November-February it is 2pm and March-April it is 3pm. We teach on limited Saturdays throughout the winter months, during peak event season (1st April-30th September) we do not have weekend lesson availability due to events and Western Experience Days.

Do you teach group lessons? Our lessons are all private, however if you have a small group who wish to ride together (up to 3 people) we can accommodate this. Please note the price will be as above per person.

Where are good local places to stay? We recommend Woodpaddock B&B, Elm Tree Inn, Fourwinds Leisure, The Hippodrome, The Causeway Guest House. We also have limited electric hook up points and full toilet/shower facilities onsite if you have a caravan or horse box you wish to stay in.
