SQH at the Fenland Show

_cal1228Wow!  Great show, 90 horses at the Arena, and Sovereign Horses and riders did fabulous!

Halter classes were dominated by Sovereign bred horses, with Jay and Snipper daughters sweeping the board.  Congratulations to Sarah and David who showed Snippers Mito Bella, Snips Silver Dollar, and Heir To a Jay all to Grand Championships.  Joyce Markham’s Heir To a Cady also was in the purple rosettes, as was Nigel Crowe’s A Snip Of A Jay.

Congratulations also to Sarah Hadley with Smokin Red Dene, Jackie and David Teideman with Jays Dene, Sam Bryce with Snips Silver Dene, Bev Piggins with A Snip Of A Jay, Karen Shaw with Just Another Jay, Toni Hardesty with Muy Poco Dene, Kate West with Easy Jay Olena, Sandra Mitchell with Im Sassy Story,  Tracy Haynes’ Jays Centrefold and Dorothy Coleman with Snippnbelles Star.

David in particular had a great show scoring the highest reining score of the weekend a 73 under Show Judge One, Dagmar Zenker from Germany with Blazin Chic Olena, and also winning both large Ranch Horse Pleasure classes with Linda Joynes Classie Jay as well as going Grand both days with the three year old gelding Heir To A Jay, and Grand with Snippers Mito Bella.  Both David and Sarah had great trail runs over the weekend, in fact they showed horses in most classes with great results.

It’s wonderful to see people out there showing and enjoying their Sovereign Quarter Horses.

We’re looking forward to the August Fenland Show – for more information on one of the most popular AQHA/NRHA/BR and All breeds shows in the country go to www.fenlandquarterhorseshows.co.uk
